Fresh fleet of 47 buses arrives at Bayer Corporation's Wuppertal location
In the heart of Wuppertal, Germany, 16 young individuals are embarking on an exciting journey as they begin the "Start in the Profession@Bayer Training" (Starter) program. This initiative, run by the renowned science and technology company Bayer, is designed to provide a solid foundation for these young minds as they prepare for a later apprenticeship in a scientific or technical profession.
Lorenz, a representative from Bayer, expressed his delight at welcoming the new cohort and accompanying them on their journey. He wished everyone a successful start and an exciting training period at Bayer in Wuppertal. The trainees will be immersed in a diverse learning environment, benefiting from an exceptional variety of knowledge in research, development, and production.
The Starter program offers intensive preparation for a future apprenticeship, providing the young participants with a unique blend of theoretical and practical training. This comprehensive approach aims to equip them with the skills needed to excel in their chosen fields.
One of last year's participants, Alexander Georgi, shared his joy from his work in the company and his decision to pursue an apprenticeship as a Chemikant. His experience serves as a testament to the program's effectiveness in nurturing talent and fostering a passion for science and technology.
The program is open to students who have the appropriate educational qualifications, such as a very good to good high school diploma or Fachhochschulreife, and meet specific requirements related to the internship or dual study program. Typically, these are students interested in technical or commercial fields who are looking to start their practical training or dual studies after secondary education.
Nicole Fiedler, an HR Expert at Bayer, takes pride in the unique training offered to apprentices. She emphasised the program's commitment to supporting disadvantaged youth, providing them with an opportunity to prepare for a later apprenticeship in a scientific or technical profession.
The trainees will be starting in the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Industrial Mechanics, Automation Technology, IT Specialist, and Animal Care. As they delve into their respective fields, they will gain hands-on experience, working alongside seasoned professionals and contributing to Bayer's ongoing research and development projects.
For those interested in applying for an apprenticeship or a dual study program at Bayer for the coming year, registrations can be made via the Bayer career portal on the internet at www.ausbildung.bayer.de.
