WSOP Circuit Tallinn: Krzysztof Chmielowski Claims Ring Event #3 Title

Krzysztof Chmielowski has secured the victory in Ring Event #3 of the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, after an exciting final hand against David Nivaya.

The hand began with Nivaya opening from under the gun for €400,000, with Igor Pihela Sr joining the action from the small blind and Krzysztof Chmielowski calling from the cut-off position. The flop came down 2♠ K♣ 7♥, with Chmielowski betting €425,000, prompting Nivaya to raise to €1,200,000. Chmielowski called the raise, and Pihela Sr folded.

On the 9♦ turn, Nivaya moved all in for 2,600,000 chips, and after a brief pause, Chmielowski called with K♦ Q♦, holding a strong pair against Nivaya’s 10♥ 9♥. The river brought A♠, and Chmielowski’s hand held, eliminating Nivaya from the tournament.

With the win, Chmielowski now has a chip count of 13,000,000, while Nivaya is now out of the game. It is worth noting that Nivaya won Ring Event #3: €5,000 NLH at the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, but the confusion may arise from a similar name with Norwegian player David Vinaya, who won a separate Ring Event #7: €5,000 NLHE 6-Max, earning €94,280 plus a WSOP Paradise Package.

Despite Nivaya's elimination in this event, he finished 6th, proving to be a formidable opponent throughout the tournament. Chmielowski's strategic play and strong poker hand have earned him the well-deserved championship in Ring Event #3.
